I downloaded the SP1 from Microsoft website, the very beginning link on top of this page (don’t use MBLoad site). It took about 5 minutes to download the whole SP1. After having installed, my PC rebooted. Then, I ran the activation file downloaded from Rapidshares. It works fine. Thank you.

This is whole vista, not just Service Pack 1..

Also use flashget download manager to download these files…
you can resume and download 1-2 files together and keep other in queue..

So no difference than rapidshare.

I got an error after i install the activation key. It ask me to restart and i receive the following message;

etc…

Then;
Boot failed! Press any key to enter command line.

I was using vista Ultimate with 30 days activation crack. After downloading & installation SP1 from windows update the activation was showing 7 days left, Then, I ran the activation file downloaded from Rapidshare which sucessfully activated the vista. IT starts normally but by showing the following message:
Booting “Windows Vista”
acpi
Vista Loader 2.2.2
Done!
fallback 1
find –set -root /bootmgr

Please help on the matter

Can somebody show me how to install this into a new hard drive without going into a previously installed operating system? I had to do it by going into Win XP first.

Note:
I had a problem downloading the first part because for some reason it was corrupted. I had to download it again and then it work. So just listen to Admin and redownload.

This answer is for Kevin: Use any hard drive imaging software like Norton Ghost 14 or Acronis Disk Imaging to make an image of your hard drive, then transfer it to the new hard drive. No Vista installation, no activation code required. It takes only 15 minutes to do the job.
